Legend Brand, grade 8
My first venture. I taught myself Photoshop and Illustrator and printed everything at T-Shirt Time. I understood nothing about business.
Failed

File 001 — The Brief
Hi, I'm Antony.
This is me, briefly.
I'm a Montreal finance student who spent years as a singer-songwriter before co-founding BrieflyMe.
I've started brands, released music and stood on case competition podiums, mostly by refusing to pick a lane.
I question everything, build what I wish existed, and I'm happiest when I'm a little out of my depth.
I've been underestimated my whole life.I love proving people wrong.
“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”
Chapter 01
I went to a Catholic high school.
I spent it debating religion.
I wasn't meant to be in one space forever.
Chapter 02 — Late edition
Local teen declares himself the source of truth
My first venture. I taught myself Photoshop and Illustrator and printed everything at T-Shirt Time. I understood nothing about business.
Failed
Round two was clothing and a magazine. Investigative journalism. Guerrilla marketing. Photoshoots.
Better. Still not a business.

Chapter 03
During Covid I learned ukulele and won a $200 gift card at a high school competition.
I spent it on my first guitar.
Then came open mics, a songwriter who told me to go pop, and a lot of hours.
30k streams across all platforms

Chapter 04
On paper, I was doing everything.
New song. New post. New song. New post.
It looked a lot like momentum.
It felt like running in place.
Then we lost people. Friends and family.
And somewhere in there, I stopped feeling like myself.

Chapter 05
In Colombia, I saw the world through understanding for the first time, not as a tourist.
The village had no money.
They were still smiling.
I come from a family of strong men and stronger women.
My mother fled the civil war in Lebanon.
My father worked harder than anyone, and kept us afloat.
I knew what I had to do. I left.
Chapter 06
New school. Finance at Concordia. I joined everything, again. This time it stuck.

Five podiums. One season. Now I captain the team.
Chapter 07
Then I started building the things I wished existed.
I got tired of textbooks and study guides. So I built an app that turns class notes into a plan.
A lead engine for blue-collar companies. It builds a fully customized website and brand guidelines with logos, for 20 cents per company.
A tool to practise case frameworks and strategy delivery before competitions.
Automates website creation and sends personalized prospecting emails.

Chapter 08
Then LinkedIn started to bother me.
Everyone posting wins. Everyone listing credentials.
And everyone reading it knew it was only half the story.
So Christopher Chadirdjian and I started BrieflyMe, to help people understand who someone truly is, and control the data linked to them.
We are pre-launch. I am a student working on it full-time.
You looked me up. This is what I wanted you to find.
